Dear Tanwax Creek and Eatonville Area Residents,

Join us on Saturday, March 11th for lake water quality monitoring training or Sunday, March 12 for stream-side monitoring training, 1:30-4:30 p.m. both days.  We will meet at the Weyerhaeuser Elementary School parking lot and car pool to the sampling site. 

The Pierce Stream Team will assist us in teaching volunteers how to measure a variety of water quality parameters including dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, nitrates, and temperature. Our goals are to establish a baseline of data on local streams and lakes, and educate citizens about stream and lake processes.

Data results will be posted regularly on this website.
